It was there as history was written. It witnessed the human toll, the sorely won victories and the bitter defeats. This steel was partner to it all- the metal itself neither good or bad, but used by opponents in some of the greatest struggles mankind has known... and its story continues to be written.
The Tirpitz was the largest battleship the world had ever known. Key to the German blockade of Europe, the Royal Air Force spent years trying to sink her. After the war, the armor plate steel was recovered by Norwegian divers for civilian use. It has been crafted here into a 300 layer pyramid Damascus pattern for the imposing 4" blade. Liner Lock, thumb stud, and Silicium Aluminum handles with native German walnut scales emblazoned with the Tirpitz Crest. Exquisite!

Its Damascus blade is made from WW2 era Sherman battle tank steel. The Sherman tipped the scales in favor of the allies, leading to the liberation of Eurpoe. The production of the 80 layer Damascus mimics the tread pattern the tank would leave behind. Micarta handle reminiscent of our GI's helmets, with liner lock and thumb stud. An easy size with a blade just over 3".

Like the standard Tirpitz Damascus, the legendary ship's steel alloy armor was recovered and has been hand crafted into 300 layer Pyramid Damascus. In this special edition, the blade has been covered in a protective layer of satin gold. The pivot, liner, standoffs. screws, and clip all glisten in gold plate, Black aluminum alloy handles and natural black walnut contrast with the gold for a stunning knife suitable for display, or as a statement EDC.

Legendary. The metal for this knife was sourced from the main gun steel of the Leopard battle tanks. This barrel steel needed to endure incredible heat and muzzle velocities, making it tremendously durable. It has been refashioned into a swirling spear point blade atop rose or "raindrop" Damascus scales. An aluminum frame houses the blade that comes in just under 4". Beautiful and substantial in every way.
